Our online service for the Ninth Sunday after Pentecost (25th July) includes words and music appropriate to the Sunday. Our theme, which is based on our reading from John's gospel, is Christ as the Way, the Truth and the Life.
The Canticle is the Magnificat, and the psalm is Psalm 27 - a psalm of hope, light and faith. The song, in which we ask God to cleanse us, is "River of God".
The reading, in which Jesus explains that God's house has many rooms, and that he is the Way, the Truth and the Life, is from John's gospel.

Our online service for the Eighth Sunday after Pentecost (18th July) included words and music on the theme of the praise of God and his promised Second Coming.
The reading was from Matthew's gospel, and included the instruction to shout what you have been told from the rooftops, and to proclaim in the light what you have been told in the darkness. The psalm was Psalm 98 and the song was "Prepare the Way for the Lord".
One of our tasks as christians is to remember the dead. Our daily service often includes a prayer specifically for the dead, but here is a song which does the same - with video images remembering those who have died in service of their country.
It is called "Give them rest" and closely mirrors a prayer which has been said for the dead for centuries.
